Maybe I’m just bugging… but everything just seems a little “off” this year
As most bands are just climbing out of pre-drill and some have still yet to play their first games, the 2018 marching season has been officially “kicked off”. To say it was an eventful start would be an understatement!

I created the motto because I needed something to help me guide band students to a higher place, a level of excellence for which they were all striving. It gave them something by which they could live daily.
I’m not sure why this behavior is so rampant amongst band directors, or teachers in general. I do know that being aware of what to look for as co workers, parents, and students will help marginalize these individuals.
