BAND IS A SPORT. IT’S TIME TO BE RECOGNIZED.
The City of Columbia, South Carolina and The National Collegiate Marching Band Championships & Festival Advisory Committee are delighted to announce the inaugural championships & festival to be held in Columbia, S.C., with a target date of December 2017. Competitive winners will be selected in the categories of Show Band, Corps-Style (under 200 winds) and Corps-Style (over 200 winds). Bands are also welcome to march in Exhibition!

Hmmmm….. Not too thrilled about the title “Showband”.. Traditional Styled Band is preferred. However I’d love to see a few of my favorite HBCU Bands in this competition/showcase.
